Calling climate activists in Geelong, Bellarine and Surf Coast
What if your front fence could speak up for the future? With a simple, weatherproof poster, it can.
We now have a fresh batch of Vote Climate One coreflute posters ready to go, and we’re inviting you to help spread the message where it matters most: right in your neighbourhood.
These eye-catching signs are conversation starters – with your neighbours and pedestrians passing by.
With messages like “What about their future?” and “Fed up with the Libs and Labor?”, they cut through the noise and direct voters to voteclimateone.org.au, a trusted guide showing which candidates have strong climate policies.
Here’s how it works:
Fence it
Pick up a poster in East Geelong, and put it on your front fence, gate, or verandah. It shows your values and might just prompt your neighbours to think twice before they vote.
Get creative
• Make a display with plants or flowers around the poster to symbolise the future we’re protecting.
• Add your own message with chalkboards or speech bubbles (“I care because I have grandkids”).
• Pair it with (solar powered) fairy lights for visibility at night
• Rob Bakes can guide you with how to place two corflute posters on top of your car
Share the message online
Take a photo of your poster in place and post it on social media. Tag us and use hashtags like #VoteClimateOne, #GeelongVotes and #ClimateSafety to build momentum.
Ask a friend
Know someone who’s passionate about advocating for climate action? Drop off an extra poster and invite them to put it up. It’s an easy way to grow the movement.
🚦 Use the guide – and spread the word
The Vote Climate One guide uses a simple traffic light system to help you vote for climate-conscious candidates. Green means go! Share the link with friends and family so they can make informed choices too.
Vote Climate One is making fences and footpaths across the country speak with one voice – a voice for climate action, for truth in elections, and for the future our kids deserve.
Want a poster? Need a few for friends? If you can’t pick it up, let us know and we’ll get them to you.
Together, we can make climate the number one vote-deciding issue in this election. #PutClimateFirst
